1-3/365 SELF PORTRAIT PROJECT
1-3/365 SELF PORTRAIT PROJECT The utter beginning of the project. Already having some problems. I will upload these in chunks, probably a week long normally i guess. But having some issues with focusing my camera (mainly as i insist on abusing my f1.8) and remote triggers dont work for video on DSLR so they will require tiny edits each time. Grand! 1/365 - Birthday Blues Feeling a little birthday blues and spent most of the day waiting for Fiona to come home. I guess this captures the candles on the cake i didnt have and the song i didnt hear. (the day was okay and the evening out with the guys was wicked, promise!) 2/365 - Duvet Haze Spent most of the day kicking around with a slight hangover. Didnt really get much done. One of those days where the duvet is too enticing to leave. 3/365 - Vacous Wow this seems to be getting dark quickly! After spending a while with the lighting, i lowered the camera angle and realised how fed up i was. Felt quite empty so captured what i had left in me. I look forward to using this project to chart my ups and downs :P And obviously considerably more to come.

Guy Sherwin 'Man With Mirror'
A live film performance by Guy Sherwin. The performance involves Sherwin holding up a mirror which is painted white on the back, acting as a screen. The image is projected from a Super 8 projector onto the screen/mirror. The projected image, which shows Sherwin holding a similar mirror/screen in a park was shot in 1976. The intention was to perform the piece later in the year it was made. However as time has passed and Sherwin has been asked to repeat the performance, it has taken on new meaning as the performer has aged and time has moved on. TEN MINUTES
Edited for Eloy Prieto. The film was shot in London and shows the life of an investment banker. I worked on the edit as well as the grading and visual aesthetic.
